What is a welding cable?
Welding cables are designed to be used in arc welders to power electrodes (a specially designed metal rod) to conduct electrical charges. The charge carried by the electrode is required to create an arc (heat source) between the electrode and the metal being welded.
Welding cables are made very durable and flexible. Arc welding requires someone to move the electrode in the workshop and along the joint to be welded, so it is essential to have a flexible welding cable that is easy to move. The high strand count and rubber insulation layer help increase the flexibility of the cable.

Our welding cable is a highly flexible stranded wire 30 gauge bare copper conductor and insulated with high quality black EPDM. Use a paper separator to enhance peelability. In a circuit that does not exceed 600 volts, the maximum operating temperature of the conductor is 105°C. The minimum rated temperature is -50°C.
