H05VV-F RVV 3×2.5 mm2 Flexible Copper PVC Insulated Electrical Wire and Cables. The light-duty 3183Y cable is designed for use in domestic appliances, such as those often found in kitchens and offices, with a voltage rating of 300/500V. It is suitable for use with ordinary duty portable appliances such as radios, table lamps and office equipment where the potential for mechanical stresses and mechanical damage is low. The 3183Y range is manufactured in accordance with BS EN 50525-2-11 and European harmonised standard H05VV-F (often misspelled as HO5VV-F). Outside of Europe, the H05VVF cable is often called NYMHY cable.

Can be installed in fixed installations in dry or damp premises clipped to surface, on trays or in free air where the risk of mechanical damage would not be an issue. Suitable for laying in conduit or trunk where mechanical protection is required. 6242Y is flat PVC sheathed low voltage wiring cable typically used for small power and lighting applications. Individual cores are PVC insulated with two and three core options available, both include an additional un-insulated circuit protective conductor.
