Overhead Insulated Cable Description

ABC cable The cable bundle The three single core cables are bundle around the galvanized steel catenary in a right hand lay. Operating temperature: A .Normal operation 90oC; B. Emergency operation 105oC. Short circuit operation250oC. This cable can be used for aerial as well as underground installation. Non Metallic Screened HV ABC conductors Phase conductors are stranded circular compacted aluminum alloy 1350 to H68 condition. The standard catenary is bare stranded circular compacted all aluminum alloy AAAC/1220 conductor. For special applications, such as high wind locations, aluminum-clad steel-reinforced catenaries are available. Conductor Screen, Insulation and Insulation Screen Semi-conductive conductor screen, XLPE insulation and semi-conductive insulation screen are triple extruded. The insulation screen is hand strippable without preheating and complies with strippability and adhesion tests given in AS/NZS 3599.
