1. Very good strength-to-weight ratio, which makes it useful when line designs are sag focused.
2. Good resistance to corrosion
Application
AAAC Conductor is designed utilizing a high-strength aluminum alloy to achieve a high strength-to-weight ratio; affords better sag characteristics. Aluminum alloy can give AAAC higher resistance to corrosion than ACSR. AAAC Conductor is used as overhead conductor for primary and secondary distribution.
