Outside layers of Aluminum wires concentrically stranded over the inner side core of galvanized steel wires to form Aluminum Steel Reinforced Conductor(ACSR).
Application of aluminum cable
ACSR is widely used for electrical power transmission over the long distance, as ACSR conductor is ideal for long overhead lines spans. They are also used as a messenger for supporting overhead electrical cables.
